Card body

Security on card body is an integrated part of the whole anti-counterfeit system of scratch cards. There are a wide range of choices, among them are: PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride), PS (Polystyrene) and paper (cardboard). Biodegradable and thus ecological-friendly materials can also be used.

All are available in different thickness and weight depending on customer’s requirements.

As a finishing of the card, a varnish layer or lamination can be applied on the surface for a shiny look.

Security

Here are the main options in order to secure the product and avoid any fraud on the secret PIN number:

•  Light blocker to prevent PIN number revealed by heavy light: This is a specific layer which is added to

material (paperboard) to ensure total opacity of the finished product.

•  UV feature to make sure the card is a genuine one: Operator's specific designs could be overprinted

with fluorescence anti-counterfeit ink, which will show only under fluorescent lamp.

•  Various types of scratch labels made from different material: Normal label, standard hot foil,

holographic hot foil.

•  Overlap print on scratch label to increase security: Such security feature hardens the tampering

of the label

•  Thermal reactive ink: On the card body, some designs could be printed with thermal ink which

will change colors while temperature changes which  provides special solutions against counterfeit.

•  Anti-photocopy varnish: A specific coating that makes it impossible to Xerox a card.
